WHAT TO EXPECT

When you arrive at First Avenue you will be greeted by someone who is able to answer your questions about our church.  They can show you where you can grab a coffee, or where you can take your children for age appropriate ministries, or where you can join our Sunday morning worship service.

Our Sunday morning worship service will include contemporary music and relevant teaching.  There will be opportunities for you to meet others and spend time worshiping the Lord Jesus together.

For families we have several excellent opportunities to minister to your children:

Our nursery (ages 0-2) and toddler room (ages 2-3) facilities are available throughout the morning service for those who have small children.

Our Kids Konnection children’s service for older children (Ages 4-9) also runs concurrently with the morning worship service.  This ministry begins with a large group time in the chapel followed by small group teaching in various classes throughout the building.  Parents, please drop your children off in the chapel and then pick them up at their classroom.  If you are unsure of where their classroom is located, please ask a children’s worker for a map or directions.

For students in grades 5-6, Godtown is a ministry especially designed for you.  This ministry also meets during the morning worship service.  Students are to sit with their families during the first part of our worship service. They will be dismissed part way through the service to meet their leaders in the lobby.  They will then go to Room 218 for a time of teaching and fun!

When our worship time is over, take a few minutes and meet some new friends in our Connections Café!
