Did you know that Jesus talked more about money than He did about Heaven and Hell combined? Or that there are 500 verses in the Bible on prayer, less than 500 verses on faith, but more than 2,000 verses about money and possessions? Clearly, money matters.
The reason money matters isn't because of the inherent worth of money, but because of what money reveals. Money matters because it reveals where our heart is, where our trust is, and where our priorities are. Secondly, not only does money reveal these areas, but money provides direction and protection to these areas.
The first step in our giving is returning.

Money will occupy 1 of 2 roles in our life, a servant or a master.
